About St Petrock's

St Petrock’s is Exeter’s local homelessness charity. Supported by the local community, we have stood with and for people experiencing homelessness for over 27 years, now with a team of professional staff supported by around 30 volunteers, including a governance board of 10 local trustees. The vast majority of the income for our work comes as donations from our supportive local community.

Our staff prepare breakfasts and lunches from Monday to Friday, that are delivered to rough sleepers across the city by our outreach team, who also carry out welfare checks, identify those new to rough sleeping, and provide immediate assistance when needed.

We also provide intensive support as well as showers, laundry facilities, weekly mental health clinics, survival equipment and clothing, most of which is generously donated by the community. The use of phone, internet and a computer, is also available at our centre in Cathedral Yard.
