Hospital Radio Exeter is the Radio Station for the patients of the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) and residents of Care Homes in the Exeter area.
Manned entirely by volunteers broadcasting from within the Hospital, we play a mixture of programmes from 60's to Soul, Show Music to 80's plus Weekday Request Programmes at 8pm.

We can be heard free of charge on Channel 1 on TV sets by patients beds within the Hospital. We are also available Online, via Alexa and on the Hospital Radio Exeter App.

Our members visit patients every weekday evening to chat to them, help them to set up the equipment and collect requests for them to enjoy the same evening. For some patients we may be the only non-medical person they have spoken to during the day.

This year Hospital Radio Exeter is celebrating 50 years of broadcasting at the R.D & E Hospital in Exeter. We started in 1974 and one of our current members has been with us since the very beginning!
